Gold/silver fume uv reactive 1E

Crafted with love in my Richmond, Virginia studio, this 1E is a true showstopper that bridges functional art and UV-reactive magic.

The piece features gold and silver fume layered over a rich cobalt blue base, giving every angle a shimmering, iridescent depth that shifts beautifully in natural and/or bright lights with steel wool lippies creating crisp transitions, adding that signature handmade character you can feel.

The heart of the design is the dramatic twisted mid-section—a swirling vortex of deep cobalt and gold/silver fume pulled and shaped by hand into  a fluid pattern. Encased on the upper section is a tumbled rainbow Gilson opal, its vibrant play-of-color permanently suspended in glass for a glowing gemstone effect that catches the light from every direction.

But the real show happens under UV/blacklight. The UV-reactive ion glass from Molten Aurora transforms the entire piece: the greens explode into electric neon whilenthe twisted body shifts into vivid purples and blues. It literally lights up the room like liquid aurora.
